| Michael Jones has always had aspirations for being a storyteller. After his youthful fantasies of becoming a misunderstood novelist matured, Michael funneled his energies into a well-rounded education in photography, journalism, television production, film editing, film directing, screenwriting and acting. When not in class, Michael garnered an extensive career as an Executive Assistant for college financial aid specialists, city developers and architects as well as the local NPR radio station. Once he graduated from the University of New Orleans with a Communications degree, Michael realized that he was now uniquely suited towards an Assistant Director position due to his educational and professional background. Following a particularly noteworthy “windstorm” making its way through New Orleans in 2005, Michael relocated to Austin, Texas and has been slowly getting to know the local stage and film community. Currently, Michael is looking forward to working with the cast and crew of the Shades of Strange pilot “Brilliant”. |
