Westen M. Borghesi comes from the local Austin music scene. He has performed with many local bands ranging from punk rock to traditional jazz. He is a co-founder of local 1920's vaudeville band, White Ghost Shivers, and is also performing with local Eastern European outfit, Minor Mishap Marching Band. He draws large influence from the early physical comedians of the silent film era, and has applied that influence all over the country with various musical acts. He has also written and produced original scores with theater group Gypsy Baby which won Best Of Fest in Austin theater festival, Frontera Fest. Also, he has been a featured extra in film, most recently, The Tree Of Life. Rounding things out, he is the founder of the popular local monthly dance party, Second Sunday Sock Hop. Westen also loves pickles. |
